When you book a service appointment with a contractor using the Blue Collar Ops platform you are asked to provide your phone number as part of the booking process. By providing your phone number you agree to receive SMS text message updates related to your service appointment.
What Messages You Will Receive
By opting in you may receive the following types of SMS messages:
- Appointment confirmation when your service is scheduled
- Technician en route notification with estimated arrival time
- Technician arrival confirmation
- Invoice and payment link upon completion of your service
- Appointment reminders before your scheduled service
- Follow up messages related to your service request
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on the number of service appointments you have scheduled. You will typically receive between two and five messages per service appointment.

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Blue Collar Ops is not responsible for any charges applied by your mobile carrier.
How to Opt Out
You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive. After opting out you will receive one final confirmation message and no further messages will be sent. To opt back in at any time reply START.
